What Wire Size Is the Chassis Ground?

Hey Jeff, great videos, I just purchased 6 24v lifeP04 50Ah batteries and 2 victron 24/3000 70 multiplus's. I've read and re-read the manual and can't find how to size the chassis ground? I'm running 2/0 gauge wires for the + and - . Please help on what's the formula for making sure I'm not running too small of a wire. Thanks, John 

Answer:

Hi John, to meet ABYC standards the chassis ground connection needs to be only 1 size smaller then the largest cable connected to the inverter/charger. For instance, if the DC cabling is 2/0, chassis ground can be 1/0.
