I Am Installing LED Lights With 26 AWG Wire - How to I Crimp Such Tiny Wires?

Question:

I have some LEDs that have 26 AWG wire and I can buy a heat shrink connector for this wire size, but I cannot find a crimper that will crimp this small. All of them I am finding stop at 22 AWG. Until I can properly crimp them, I am stripping double the length and folding it over to fit in a 22 AWG heat shrink connector. I would appreciate any help in this.  - Matt

Hi Matt, good question and this a hard one. Instead of butt connectors, have you considered the 3M Scotchlok terminals, I found one here that does gauge 26 – 22 wire. - Jeff
