Charging 48V Batteries with a 48V Outboard and Solar?

I have a 48V outboard motor and would like to charge the 48V batteries, but my solar panels are regulated to 18-20V, do you have a solar charge controller with a boost feature. I looked at the Victron controllers and they require the PV voltage to be 5V above the Vbat.

Good question, you’ll need to find a boost controller to go from solar input voltage of 18-20 volts to go to battery voltage of 48 volts. Not sure which solar controller provides this feature. We commonly use Genasun Boost or Western Co Boost controllers. - Jeff
